Why we love them
Foiled cabinet doors are incredibly versatile for use in any room of the house. The plethora of colour and pattern options provide endless possibilities for your furniture design.
Wood-effect foils are a remarkable facsimile of real wood, offering a realistic look that brings a natural charm to your home.
They are at once elegant, durable, and simple to clean, contributing to their status as one of the most sought-after furniture door types globally.
Advantages:
- Robust and long-lasting
- Wood-effect foils superbly mimic the aesthetic of real wood
- Matte colours resist fingerprints
- Unlimited colour and pattern combinations
- Enhanced colour retention
Disadvantages:
- Technological constraints mean the maximum height for foiled doors is 2,500 mm. For taller doors, construction from two or more door panels is recommended.
Technical Information
The base material of the front is an 18-mm-thick MDF board, white laminated on the reverse side.
Coating material: PVC foil ranging from 0.35 to 0.5 mm in thickness.
Adhesive: Environmentally friendly, water-based
Production Time: 10 working days
Cleaning and Maintenance
To clean, first dust off the surfaces, then use a soft cotton or microfibre cloth with lukewarm, slightly soapy water.
Refrain from using abrasive, acidic solvents, chemicals, or any harmful substances, such as alcohol or ammonia, for routine cleaning.
We recommend that the protective film is only removed after the furniture is fully assembled and installed. For high-gloss foil finishes, avoid using any cleaning products ont he surfaces for four weeks post protective film removal. This period is necessary for the lacquer layer on the foil to fully cure when exposed to air. Cleaning can then be conducted as necessary.
